Women in 3D Printing Meeting at Eastwood Mall

                     A professional organization dedicated to an exciting new technology will meet at Eastwood Mall in Niles to learn more about the retail application of the science.  The Youngstown Chapter of Women in 3D Printing will gather at the MiMe store on Thursday, January 30, 5 – 7:30pm. 

MiMe utilizes Additive Manufacturing (more commonly called Three-Dimensional Printing) to create precise, custom figurines of its customers.  In 2019, Mime was the winner of an Eastwood Mall business competition known as the Small Shop Showdown.

            The evening will be a chance for 3D manufacturers, researchers, retailers, suppliers and other interested parties to learn more about the process and how it is being employed for consumer purposes.  There will be refreshments and a chance for volunteers to have themselves “recreated” in miniature. 

            This is a FREE event but registration is required.  Individuals who would like to attend and have not yet been invited may get on the guest list by call Renee Malutic at MiMe, 330-652-MIME (6463). 

            Women in 3D Printing is a global organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and inspiring women who are using Additive Manufacturing technologies. Its mission is to increase the visibility of women in the Additive Manufacturing industry and encourage more women to use 3D Printing technologies.  Men may also be involved by leading chapters, attending organizational events, naming female talents to share their stories on a website or on stage, hosting gender-balanced events, and most importantly, ensuring diversity is respected in their companies.
