Sneak Peek of the new JA Discovery Center

Development of The Junior Achievement Discovery Center at Eastwood Mall is moving along nicely. The physical construction of the facility, which will serve thousands of local school children in the region, is nearing completion. At the same time, Junior Achievement of Eastern Ohio continues the process of securing additional sponsors to fully fund the program. This would include individuals, corporate, small businesses, service organizations and others.

The JA Discovery Center combines classroom learning with hands-on simulations to teach financial literacy, work readiness, and career exploration. In JA BizTown, students run businesses, manage finances, and engage in real-world decision making. JA Finance Park builds on these concepts, guiding students through personal financial planning and budgeting based on real-life scenarios.
